PST ART Climate Impact Program
Client: Getty
The PST ART Climate Impact Program is a groundbreaking integration of climate action, community building, and data reporting as part of Getty's landmark recurring arts event, PST ART, which brings together more than 70 exhibiting institutions throughout Southern California for Art & Science Collide.
The Climate Impact Program provides participating organizations with education, resources, and tools to build community and take lasting climate action, as well as a framework for completing climate impact reports related to PST ART exhibitions. The program’s objectives are to build climate fluency among Southern California arts professionals, unite climate action across partner sites, and collect climate impact reports to create a data-backed regional understanding of the collective climate impact of exhibition-making in the Southern California arts and culture sector. Climate action and reporting at partner sites is self-directed and voluntary, with a majority of partner organizations participating.
The Climate Impact Program is led by LHL Consulting and is made available to all PST ART partners presenting exhibitions for Art & Science Collide.

The Art Show Exhibitor Booth Reporting
Client: Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA)
The Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA) commissioned its first-ever Sustainability Roadmap in 2022—a comprehensive guide for The Art Show (TAS), which assesses aspects of the fair that might impact climate or general wellness.
This initiative aims to chart a course toward analyzing the environmental significance of events like this—identifying short, mid, and long term goals, to encourage greater sustainability practices going forward—not only for TAS, but for art fairs worldwide.
In 2022, The Art Show asked a pilot group of exhibitors to track their climate impact resulting from participation in the fair, using the Climate Impact Report (CIR) model developed by Artists Commit. These CIRs were tailored by LHL Consulting for exhibitors’ specific participation in our fair.
In addition to promoting a practice of self-assessment and building climate-fluency, CIRs submitted for The Art Show will help design more environmentally responsible future fairs. For the 2023 fair, we invited all exhibitors to participate in the CIR process, with 33 galleries submitting reports.
